So, let's break it down in a way every man can understand.

Living like Jesus isn't about being nice, religious, or perfect.

1. Humbled Himself - The Power of Spiritual Humility (Philippians 2:5–8)

"Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus… he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death."

Jesus, the King of Kings, bent down to wash dirty feet.

When was the last time you bent low to lift someone else up?

Humble men don't need the spotlight; they just want to serve.

And that starts at home with your wife, your children, and your brothers in Christ.

2. Obedient to the Father (John 5:19)

"The Son can do nothing by himself; he does only what he sees the Father doing."

Obedience starts in secret in the prayer closet, in the Word, in listening before leading. Just as Jesus prayed regularly to maintain His connection with the Father, we need that same discipline in our Christian life.

Living like Jesus means slowing down enough to see people, not just walk past them.

That includes your wife. Your kids. Your brothers in Christ. That coworker who annoys you.

That stranger you'd rather ignore.

4. Strong in Trials (Hebrews 12:2–3)

"For the joy set before him he endured the cross… so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

He endured betrayal, rejection, temptation, torture, and He did it without sinning.

Now, let's be real: you and I will sin. But living like Jesus means we fight through our trials with faith, not fear.

It means confessing your struggles to a brother not hiding in pride.
